Tuition Assistance

St. James is committed to providing bright, motivated, curious students with an unparalleled education regardless of their ability to pay. We offer tuition assistance to admitted students in grades PreK-3 through 5th grade. It is our hope that financial awards bridge the gap between what a family can afford for education and the cost of tuition.

We use FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) to process your tuition assistance application. FAST applications must be submitted through the FAST website, and they must be completed by early February for priority consideration. Applicants may apply for tuition assistance after this deadline, though funds may be limited.  A copy of the prior year’s tax returns is required with the applications.

Gaudet Scholarships

The Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana through the generous Gaudet Scholarship Program awards scholarships to advance the dedication of black African American students attending Episcopal schools within the Diocese of Louisiana. These scholarships are available to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. African American students who qualify for St. James tuition assistance are included in the school’s annual application for Gaudet scholarships. To learn more about the Gaudet Scholarship Program, please visit the Guadet website.
