After your tour, the admissions process continues with our online application. We encourage prospective families to apply during the Priority Application Period in the fall preceding the intended year of enrollment. St. James welcomes students of any race, color, nationality, ethnic origin, and religious background as we seek to build a diverse student body.
Priority consideration is given to families who apply by the Priority Application deadline of December 1. Enrollment decisions for priority applicants are released in mid-December. After the priority deadline, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until each grade level is full. Once a grade level is full, students may be placed in a wait pool.
As part of the application process, an assessment is required for applicants to PreK-3 through 5th grade. The assessment focuses on developmental milestones to ensure readiness for the St. James experience. Assessments are scheduled after the online application is submitted. Applicants to the Nest (our 1 and 2 year old program) do not require an assessment but are required to complete a school tour.

- 2026-2027 Applicants: We are currently accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until classes are full. Please call or email to confirm availability.
- 2027-2028 Applicants: Applications for the 2027–2028 academic year will open in mid-August. To receive a notification when applications go live, complete our Inquiry Form.

- Monday, November 30 – Rising PreK-3
- Wednesday, December 2 – Rising PreK-4
- Thursday, December 3 – Rising Kindergarten
