BOOK FAIR
A week long book fair held in the fall with books available for every
age range and interest focusing on fostering a love of reading. All
proceeds earned go directly to the St. James library.
CARE TEAM
This is a NEW committee established to provide comfort and/or a
helping hand to St. James families. Every parent can help this
committee by letting us know of a family in need such as a student with
a broken bone or other serious injury/illness, student in the hospital,
surgery of a parent, or death of a grandparent. The Care Team’s
volunteers help these families by providing a card or a meal in time of
need.
CARNIVAL
A night
of family fun in the fall that includes games, food, music and lots of
excitement for the whole St. James community. This is our largest
fundraiser where everyone can be involved. Visit our carnival website "HERE".
FIELD DAY
Volunteer for this fun filled day of games to make this event a big hit for the kids.

GRANDPARENTS DAY
Brings together family and friends to celebrate and share the St. James experience, a longtime tradition of St. James.
LIBRARY SUPPORTERS
Both student and parent volunteers are
needed through out the school year to support our school library's
Scholastic Book Fair, Accelerated Reader Program and more.
NEW PARENT LIAISON TEAM
This is a NEW program to actively welcome all our new parents, help
them feel comfortable at St. James, and encourage them to be an active
part of our school community. Committee members contact new families
during the summer and answer questions during the school year to help
them transition.
NEW PARENTS NIGHT
A night to become better acquainted with our school and its wonderful activities.
OPEN HOUSE
Assist admissions committee by greeting prospective parents and showing off our wonderful school.
REBATES
Every family can participate in this one! Simply use an Albertsons
Community Partnership card when you grocery shop. Save your Community
Coffee labels, your My Coke Rewards bottle caps and your Box Tops for Education from your General Mills
product boxes and turn them into the school office. We are also currently enrolled in the Target Take
Charge of Education program.
ROOM PARENTS
Parents from each
classroom are selected to serve as Room Parents. Parents may
volunteer for these positions on Orientation Day. The Room Parents
will be randomly selected and notified by Parents Guild President.
The
parents arrange for class parties, provide field trip drivers, and
assist with many special activities and projects throughout the school year.
SPRING SOCIAL
A night of fun fund raising that includes auction, dinner, and a chance to visit with parent.
TEACHER APPRECIATION
Parents assist with a week of special treats to show our wonderful teachers what they mean to us.
YEARBOOK
The yearbook is created each year by a committee of parent volunteers. Help us make a memorable yearbook by sharing your class event photos. Please share your photos with the Committee Chair, Judy Beaman.
