Meet the Teacher!
Hello! My name is Amelia Johnson. I am the Christian Education teacher here at St. James. Each grade level comes to Christian Education once a week in addition to our weekly church services. We explore Scripture, learn about the liturgical life of the church and engage in community outreach. I am so happy to have the opportunity to work with your children this year.
I have lived in Baton Rouge for 4 years with my husband, Wooten and our children Wyly and Jed (who are both students here this year). I have spent many years working with children in the Episcopal church serving at parishes in Virginia and North Carolina.
