St. James offers families an opportunity to interweave their child's academic and spiritual development in a loving, Christian atmosphere. This holistic approach combines a child's physical, social, intellectual and spiritual development in a unified way. Most important, the entire process is buttressed by the faith and life of the Christian community through the Anglican tradition.

One of the oldest and most beloved of all St. James traditions is chapel, which is held in the Church for children Pre-K through 5th grade. This is a time for community, prayer and reflection. It is also a time for the celebration of special events and honors in the life of the school.
